NOTD: Grass and Glitters

I've been addicted to polish since forever! I've chanced upon this nail polish stand in Trinoma that has sooo many nail polish colors! They have glittered polish that's really full ad I mean full of glitters! One swipe and you're good to go. But you haven't heard the best part yet! Their regular polishes are priced at whooping BELOW P90. I forgot what's the exact price sorry, guys! I got 2 polishes from them, I swore that I won't buy anymore polish until December. Too bad I broke my promise. How can I resist the price and the glitters?! Did I mention glitters?

ohh lala G-L-I-T-T-E-R-S!!

I think it's a Korean brand and the staying power is also superb, it doesn't chip easily. With the price I won't complain! The base and top coat that I'm using is Sally Hansen's.

Have you tried this brand of polish? Let me know what you think. :)

NOTD: Gloss My Tips!

You probably know how much I love my CG Matte Top Coat! If you've read my previous post, you'll know that I really really do love it! A must have in your collection! Just imagine, you can make ALL of you regular nail polish turn into matte! How awesome is that! @__@

I was really bored one time and I've decided to experiment with my nails! I swiped a regular polish on my nails, let it dry and top it with a matte top coat, and add the regular polish on the tips! coooolness right?! Now, feast your eyes on this!

Tada!!!

I used Sally Hansen Extreme Wear in "Black Out".
I really love how long lasting Extreme Wears are! So uber worth it! My tips didn't even chip for a week! The con is they only have limited colors. :(

Love it or hate it? Let me know what you think! You have more ideas on how to use Matte Top Coats? Leave a comment! :)

NOTD: I Love You Matte M.

I went crazy when I first learn about matte top coats, they are soooo uber-amazing! Fine, I'm exaggerating. I don't know which brand first came out with their own mate top coat (Essie, China Glaze, OPI ) Which ever brand you use, I'm guessing *cross fingers* they will have the same finish. *duh* Some people find matte top coats are a blah to the polish industry, but for me it's really different and very unique addition to my collection. Though I don't really use it that much, just for special occasions *afraid to use it all up*

You can also do wonderful designs just using the matte top coat. Here's some ways to do it:

1. Paint your nails with a regular polish then swipe your matte top coat (so the whole nail is matte). Let it dry a bit then swipe a regular polish at the tips. (so the tips are shiny) One swipe of the same color of polish will do or different color, it's upto you. Vice versa.

2. Paint your nails with a regular polish and then let it dry, swipe your matte top coat on your nails with a slanting design, your aiming for a SLANTED STRIPE pattern of alternating matte-shiny-matte-shiny. Do I make sense? LOL

3. Try doing the gradient technique on your nail with a regular polish. (search Youtube) It's going to look like matte going to shiny effect. Swipe a regular polish on your nails, then your regular shiny top coat, let it dry. put some of the matte top coat on a clean flat plastic surface and dab a sponge on it and gently make the gradient effect on your nails(search youtube for the gradient tutorials)

My Birthday Nails! Yey!

HELLO this should be posted a week ago when it's still my birthday. The day before "THE" day I thought why not different color for each finger! But then it won't look like "THE" birthday fingers, it would look like a trying-hard-teenage-wannabe fingers. So scratch that idea. I've also thought to tone it down a bit with 2 colors alternating each finger. BUT still too teeny bopper. I can't take off my mind of the "festive" looking nails I had in mind and what I did was stick with  2 colors of PINK and a SEA GREENish one, but on the tips only. *Drum roll please!*

 TADA!!
 Bongga! :)
