Working At Home

I had never been fond of drawing or any art related matter. I used to ask people to draw and pay (obviously) them for their services. When there is a drawing homework, I immediately ask my Dad to draw it (He's in fact very happy to do it!) and when the morning comes, PRESTO! My homework's done! Didn't even lift a finger! Then there's the time when I need to choose a college, I really can't seem to fathom why every college I had an exam to, I chose courses that's related to Arts. Seriously. So when I was considered in UST for an Arts course, I was required to submit 3 drawing for their consideration. In my mind, "whatthefuck?!" OKAY OKAY PANIC, ang babaw right? But I'm really having a hard time to draw, so what I did, again, I asked someone to do it, mind you I didn't pay him! I submitted and poof! nothing! I ended up being interviewed for my 2nd choice which is Food Tech. LOL! But decided don't want to pursue anything food related and I really don't want to enter UST anyway. Well anyways to keep the long story short, I ended up with a degree in MMA (Mixed Martial Arts). Kidding! LOL it's Multimedia Arts. I focused on contemporary graphic designs (I may not be good at hand drawing atleast I'm good at computer graphics! bleh!)

Having a degree in computer graphics, you get to work with only your computer and you can finish a job with just your computer. There's no coordinating with other people, meeting with this and that yada yada. So here comes the super best parts of majoring in graphics or arts related course perse, 1. You can work for freelance (NO boss!) 2. You can work at home! 3. You can schedule your own nap / yosi / lunch / snack / brunch break 4. Facebooking while working! Sounds good eh? Well, I haven't done freelance work for quite sometime now and I kind of missed it. I tried searching online for something like Craigslist (don't try Craigslits, there are a lot of scammers! Although I got some pretty good projects there, but beware). I chanced upon Task Army, basically it's an online community where you can register the services you offer or if you're looking for someone to do a certain job for you, you can try scouting there. There are a lot of these kinds of websites, like Elance,  I saw some crazy offers there like "Can add 1000 likes to your Facebook fanpage" LOL Go! Try it!

Now, hire me on TaskArmy!

Will post some of my sample contemporary logo designs soon! :)

Paper Castle

Can you imagine what to do with a paper? Aside from making origami and other folded thingies? Well, Wataru Itou (伊藤航), a young student of a major art university in Tokyo has outdone himself by making a castle out of paper. Guess how long it took him to finish this? 4 effin' years! hahaha! That is one very patient guy! the piece of work is really marvelous! I'll bet it would look so effin' gorgeous in person!
