My Not So Red Lipstick For The Ber Months

Phew! Long title isn't it?! I don't know how do you call that kind of color..berry shade maybe? Anyhoo, Autumn and Winter season is here! Well atleast for some countries. :P I want to get into the Holiday cheer, though I don't really feel the Christmas cheer this year, If feel that it lessens year after year (sad). Since December is just around the corner I want to feel Christmas-y, so I went to do my business wearing my not-so-red lipstick! what's great about the color is that it's not overpowering and great for daytime use! It  adds a little spark to anyone's face. My fave shade is NYX's Midnight Dinner. Oh and the color's buildable.

Oh there's my driver!

What's that on my neck?!

 Love it? love it!!

What I'm Currently Reading

I'm not really into the whole Twilight - vampire hype going on. but I tried reading a book series on Vampires (mind you I'm not really a fan of vampires!) it's the Vampire Academy, which is surprisingly really good. I just didn't really enjoyed the first book, but I still gave it another shot and I'm not disappointed! it led on to the next book etc. etc. until I finished the whole series that I see a new light to vampire novels (Mind you again, I'm still not a fan of any Twilight sh*t)

There are a lot of mix reviews about The House of Night series, some even call it cliche or similar to Vampire Academy series. (Yeah Yeah, I know, I know, it's a Teeny Bopper book. But reading YA novels are really fun! It's light and entertaining. Try it!) Well in my opinion, it is kinda similar to VA series, the first thing that's similar is well..they both have a vampire school in the story and 2nd they are all blood suckers. what I don't like is the way the author wrote the story and co-writing it with her daughter to make it "teen-ish" and there are times when the lead character is thinking, there are side comments like "tee-hee" and "hee-hee" What's up with that? It makes the novel look unprofessional. I just read the first book and I'm on the 2nd one, my OCness is already kicking in. When I read a book series, I need to read the next book and the next and the next and there are 9 books! and I think there would be more! (Goodluck to me!) I have all of the 8 books (thank you Snak!) The 9th book was released just last week of October (Updated?) I just wish that the author knows when to stop, like when to end the series, because it might be trending now but maybe next year it won't. Like for the VA, the author said in the interview that she wants to end the series when it's still on the top, not when no one's reading it anymore.

What really got me hooked? Their book covers! They are crazy awesome!

Are you reading HON too? :)

Laneige White Plus Renew Daily Protection Cream

Did you ever feel naked not doing your regular beauty regimen? or do you feel something's missing when you didn't slather on your fave cream? Well, I DO! last week I ran out of the White Plus Renew Essence (WPRE) I can't literally get a new bottle due to hectic bazaar schedules. So I'm left with my vitamin E cream (which I must say is really good!! I also highly recommend this one, I'll post it in another post!) I'm not complaining, but I'm really a sucker for whitening prods (I'm not a morena nor I have dark skin, I dunno, I think Filipinos are just obsessed on being more fairer, just like Americans on tanning). I'm still iffy on spending another P2,350 for a small bottle (come on!) . I was at Laneige the other day and I repurchased WPRE and White Plus Renew Daily Protection Cream (Phew! Looong name! Let's call it WPRPDC) it also has SPF36++

Classy packaging that comes with a spatula and guide.

The texture is similar to sun blocks, but it glides smoothly and totally non-greasy!

It comes with a guide with directions too! How nifty!

Other directions on how to use their other products

This is for the Night Cream Massaging procedure. And wrong spelling is wrong! tsk tsk!

THE VERDICT
I've been using these products for 2 days in a row already, but I haven't seen any dramatic results yet. Although the plus is that it's non-greasy and great for makeup base. It glides on smoothly so a little really goes a long way.

THE PRICE
The price for me is fine because it's 50ml, but if it's lesser than 50ml, I'm a bit 50-50 on the price, since it's just a day cream, not the essence itself. I think I can use this for more than 4 months. So not bad.

RATINGS?
A A A A A - Utterly Amazing!
A A A A - Liked it!
A A A - So so (Neutral)
A A - There could be better!
A  - Not worth it!

"Real" Feather Extensions

Feathers really kicked in this 2011. The hyped trend started in US way back last year. recently the trend dominated our local market! It started here as long single feather earrings then comes the long strand - short feather clip ons. The feather extensions didn't hit Manila, unlike in the US, it's everywhere! They have it done in salons for a very expensive $$$! So basically, the "real" feather extensions are attached to the hair that can last for more than a month! You can wash, blowdry, flat iron, curl iron it like real hair! uhuh! You read that right! But of course these are not real hair and using hair tools still has limitations and just use low setting to keep the orginal beauty of the feather. by the way I know someone who had it done in New Zealand for a whopping 60 New Zealand Dollars (P33 conversion) for a couple of feathers, 4 feathers if I'm not mistaken. Now you do the math!

Luckily for Manila, we are offering the extensions! Just visit one of out booth and we'll place it in your hair on the spot! for less than 5 minutes!
