My Most Love Time Management Apps

Steve Jobs is gone, but Apple is still reigning the digital world. When my phone was stolen in one of my bazaars (I won't be joining that bazaar again! There are alot of stolen items!) I immediately thought "OMGEE! This is a sign!" (stupid right? LOL) I'm probably consoling myself and looking at the ain't so damn bright side. The first thing I did on my iPhone when I got it, I downloaded games of course! and second, I downloaded time management apps. I'm not kidding. The Facebook app is not on top of my list! I'm sharing my favorite T.M apps that I'm sure time management freaks like me would loooove!

OKAY! WAIT!This is not a TM app! I just find this really cool and you can use this as a break from time managing! What I'm loving from the iOS5 update is Newsstand. I love how they separated the newspaper and magazine subscriptions and put it in just one app! Look at what I've subscribe to!

Let's get on to the real TM apps!

Flava is you diary on the go! You can write your day to day happenings, did you just spot a wonderful outfit you can't stop thinking? write it here! What I do is I write on the date when I started on a book, just o keep track how long I read it (time management freak). Oh and it costs $.99 or $1.99 in iTunes if I'm not mistaken

I'm a task management freak! I love Wunderlist easy to use app for a
time management freak like me! I list down everything I need to do,
even to the last detail! You can even change the background!

Here are some of my time management apps, let's start from the upper left,
Click The City (mainly for movie schedules)
iP Free (it's a period tracker)
Alarmed (again, another time management app, also an alarm. I use this app everyday!)
Parcel (for tracking packages)
Xe Currency (YES! I check the currency every now and then!!)
Weave (yet again another time management app, I love the vintage feel of this app)
Blogger (duh, you what this is)
Reminders (build in for ios5, haven't use this)
Videos (I have to remove this from this folder!!)

THANK YOU for wifi file sharing apps!! I'm in love with Dropbox!! I used Dropbox for this post's photo! the second file sharing app I'm loving is Bump, file sharing for iPhone to iTouch or iPhone to iPhone, though I haven't tried using this with an iPad.

Let me know if this apps are useful to you, or you have some added TM apps, hit me up! I'll post some of my other favorite apps soon! :)

Blah! Let Them Eat Insects!!

They say insects are tasty. Well for me?! I don't know! They say fried ones are the best and nutritious too! I can't really imagine sinking my teeth into the crispy body *goosebumps*. Oh and they look like a pile of cockroaches from afar, uhuh! sounds yummy right?! LOL I found this post in Etsy, and I just can't help it not to share it with you guys! Just to make it short, in the Etsy blog post it's saying that for us to contribute on helping the planet, you should eat bugs..lots of it!

Eating Insects: The Key to the Future?

See! They look like Cockroaches from afar!!

Can you sink your teeth into that crispy delicious body?

Would take a bite? Just tinsie winsie bite?

Book Review: Haunting Violet by Alyxandra Harvey

Haunting VioletHaunting Violet by Alyxandra Harvey
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Violet doesn't want to disobey her "maman", so she helped with the family business- contacting the dead. But her "maman" doesn't really have the gift, they fool grieving people into thinking they're really talking to their dead relatives. Her mother is a pro at doing seances and adding effects to each session, pretending to be possessed, moving the curtains with strings etc. But violet didn't know she literally had the gift, not until when they were invited by a peerage on the other side of the country. A ghost kept appearing before her , whom they thought had drowned, but she knows better, she investigated and found out that spirit has been murdered and now it's up to her to find out who is her murderer or murderess. With spirits keep appearing before her and trying to make contact with her, she struggles to concentrate on how to properly manage her gift and solve the mystery.

I'm recently reading alot of paranormal stories, one of my favorite category. The setting of the story is 1800's, just imagine how easily they fool people that they contact the dead, just a little effect here and there, they'd have people on their toes instantly. I love how my mind imagine the setting, the petticoats, horse drawn carriages, mansions. The author didn't get into much of into the details, but that's fine, my mind get to work. overall the story is okay, easily paced, not too much action, but keeps the story going. I gave it 3 stars because there's nothing special to it(I think I'm pretty generous), aside from the setting which I thinks adds to the mystery of the story. IMO. :)

Another Brilliant Craft Idea

I really don't know what had gotten into me that I'm suddenly interested on crafting these days. I haven't done any crafting since I was in grade school and that was centuries ago! if you have read my post on my bunting project, well I'm still doing it, I'm halfway through though (me and my lazy arse). Anyhoo, I'm really inspired with this image to do MORE crafting! *grinning*

3D butterfly wall decor

It's really simple and maybe after I'll put some in my room! I've also come up with a better idea, why not make a mobile! I thought of a _____ mobile tandem with the buntings I'm making for my room decor. Though I'm still thinking whether which one would look good, a butterflies or swallows. Hmmm..

isn't this cute?!

Will definitely post pics after I'm done making them (Not yet done with the buntings, me and my lazy arse, I know!)

Butterflies or swallows? Hmmm

NOTD: Grass and Glitters

I've been addicted to polish since forever! I've chanced upon this nail polish stand in Trinoma that has sooo many nail polish colors! They have glittered polish that's really full ad I mean full of glitters! One swipe and you're good to go. But you haven't heard the best part yet! Their regular polishes are priced at whooping BELOW P90. I forgot what's the exact price sorry, guys! I got 2 polishes from them, I swore that I won't buy anymore polish until December. Too bad I broke my promise. How can I resist the price and the glitters?! Did I mention glitters?

ohh lala G-L-I-T-T-E-R-S!!

I think it's a Korean brand and the staying power is also superb, it doesn't chip easily. With the price I won't complain! The base and top coat that I'm using is Sally Hansen's.

Have you tried this brand of polish? Let me know what you think. :)

My Bunting Project

I'm really inspired by some of the craft blogs that I'm reading and their post has gotten into me that! lately I've been going gaga over craft projects. Hah! I've been searching for a perfect room decor project and I'm looking for a very simple one (me and my lazy arse, sorry).

I've found a super cute project to work on-bunting! Bunting or banderitas is commonly used here as feastive ornaments. Though I'm thinking of a more cutesy approach to it and make it as a room decor. I was torn between on what I should use, cloth or paper. I ended up with paper, easier to do and I can replace it anytime if ever get bored with it. This is literally my first attempt on trying a project, well technically it's a very very easy one and if I screw up on this I would really be a dope!

just finished cutting these

I have some left over cut outs! This will make a very cute topper!

I'll post the finished one when I'm done! Oh and I'll post some of my other new projects soon! :)

I want..To Be With You

I saw this MV of Be With You of The Honey Trees in one of my "surfing" the internet mode. i played it over and over again like hmm..I lost count. But anyway I was really hooked with the lead singers voice, it's best listened to at night, when you're relaxed, drinking a hot cup of choco, rain pouring outside and you just feel like emoting. :P
Enjoy!
