Goody Simple Styles Collection

I saw Spin Pins on Youtube video and fell inlove instantly! I immediately bought one! Good Released Simple Styles Collections a couple of years back (goodness, I'm so outdated!) I was just browsing Youtube and I was curious what are the Spin Pins, I watched and immediately bought a box! It's totally awesome and no rubber thingies needed, it can really and I mean really hold your bun! I've used this last Sunday, and I haven't retouched my high -bun the whole day! (swear!!) I'm really impressed! A pair of these Spin Pins cost around Php550+, not more than Php600. I bought mine in PCX. There are other tools that Goody came up with, I'm eyeing for the Modern Updo. *giddy*

Benefit Eye Bright: Multiple Ways on How to Use

This cute little pencil really does wonders! before I thought that I can replace this with a white eyeliner pencil, but using white eyeliner pencil makes it look really white, so scratch that. though white eyeliner pencil is great for lining the lower middle waterline (only in the middle, it mainly to give contrast to the brown area of your eye) enough white eyeliner, I read and watched a good amount of reviews for this tiny pencil and I thought that I can also use this for other areas of my face not just in the lid or inner corners of your eye!

Draw a fish around your eye. Put less on the eyebags area, you don't want it to look too white. Remember to blend (semi tap and semi smear)

This is what I usually do to really touch the outer corner of my eye, with less strokes!

Lower waterline. It gives more brightening effect to your eyes, makes it look more awake.

Pat a little under the brow bone. SPREAD! Again, you don't want it too white.

On the side your nose. This area usually gives unflattering shadows to your face.

last but not the least! I sometimes also use this as a highlighter, dabbing it just above the cheeks (some highlighter gives me that oily effect by mid day, and I hate it), not too much. Just to give an ample brightening effect because it has micro glitters! :)

Let me know what you think!

My Undying Benefit Love

I'm sure you ladies are waaaay over hearing raves about the new benefit Cosmetics store in Greenbelt. I'm sure everyone of you knows that you can grab your favorite fixes there! I've been a fan of Benefit since the day I laid my eyes on their counter in Harbour City in Hong Kong! It was their first branch at that time there, being a BIG fan, I was blown away! I totally hoard! and I wasn't satisfied, I went back before we go home to Manila! We stayed at the Marco Polo Hong Kong, so it was just a walking distance to the mall (Thank you Lord!!) I still remember this because I didn't go shopping for clothes or other stuff, I just literally bought Benefit products!

Hearing that they will open a branch here in our shores, made me giddy and excited! To think I only get my Benefit fixes when we go to Hong Kong, but now?! Ha! I'll go straight to Makati! With my busy December schedule, full of bazaars and delivery ek ek, I never got the chance to visit Greenbelt. Not until yesterday! Uhuh! Well, this time no need for hoarding. It's not good to speend too much since it's Chinese New Year. They say it's bad luck to spend on New Year. Oh well. I still spent..a little :) haha!

The items I got, Porefessional, Bathina and Eye Bright

Eye Bright testing

Eye Bright when blended, tilted my hand so that you can see that there's a
minimum amount of glitters / shimmer

Porefessional --uber love this! it give you a velvet matte finish! you can use
this on top (gives an airbrush finish) or under your makeup

Bathina, sa sobrang tuwa ko, nakalimutang kong kunan ng picture :/

New addtion to my kit!! Darn my Shu Uemura Glow On is smashed :(

Sorry forgot to take Bathina's picture on skin! But I swear! it's nice! At first I don't want to buy this because It's just a waste of money, I can use a lotion with glitters or a large brush and dip it to my highlighter powder and brush it to my legs to give a wonderful sheen. But by the time I tried the tester, I bought it immediately haha! it's different than your regular highlighter, it doesn't have large glitters, it gives a dewy shiny look that's really sexy when applied to the legs! It's one of their best sellers too! and I chitchatted a MA before and swears that Bathina is what celebrities (like Kim Chiu) uses. Diba Chikadora?!

Other Benefit Cosmetics that I tried:
Posietint
Ooh La Lift
Dandelion
Georgia
Badgal Eyeliner
Lemonaid
Erase paste

Lemming for:
Watt's Up
Hervana
Stay Don't Stray (read a lot of nega reviews, will still do more research)

I do have some not-so-lovely purchases from Benefit, I'm really sad about this because they are NOT CHEAP! they're like more expensive than MAC. Although their packaging is a plus for me! the 50's (or 60's? 70's?) themed going on is so awesome!

Will post my not-so-lovely Benefit purchases on my next post.

Been in a relationship for sooo long that after breaking up with the bastard, makes you realize that you don't know how to date? That being a relationship for so long that you forgot how to be single and date? Well, that's what Abigail felt like. She just broke with her boyfriend of 7 years (imagine, 7 effin' years!) And now that she single, she struggles and doesn't know how to be confident in dates, she has that awkward persona and lacking of self confidence etc. Now she met Robert in the midst of her disastrous dating spree. Robert is mainly one thing, he's a womanizer, every women falls for his looks and charm. Being a friend that he is, he teaches her how to be a "bastardette" like him. A couple of dates later, Abigail's now tagged as "bastardette" of her friends, she's now uber confident and cool not until she met Dave. She's head over heels inlove with him, forgetting all of her "bastardette" lectures behind! ---If I gave a way what happens next, you won't be reading the book!

I totally adore this book, it's my second in a row chiclit book (2 straight of British Chiclits). It's really funny, specially Abigail has that witty smart ass comments on everything! It made me laugh out loud in some parts, though it has a lot of cussing compared to the other chiclit books I read, which is fine with me, however I think a bit too much, I think it brings out the "effect" of the story. Do I make sense? Confusing? LOL. So! If you want a really good laugh do get this book, it won't disappoint you! I love all of the characters, no annoying ones. I do find some words a bit hard to understand, there's a lot of British slang, so I often use "Define" in my iBooks, which is totaaaaallly handy, don't have to open my Merriam Webster app! Plus I get to learn new words! HA!

Holy! Tony Moly!

If you've been following my posts, you must already know that I'm still hunting for the RIGHT, NON-SMUDGE, LONG LASTING, WATERPROOF, EASY TO GLIDE eyeliner. Yes! I'm that icky-picky! I was strolling with my friend last week in Megamall, when I chance upon a Tony Moly store, I didn't know Tony Moly is here in Manila already! Seriously, I really don't know! That's how outdated I am. And I think it replaced Etude House. (I think) I'm not in anyway thinking of buying anything in Tony Moly, but I just went in and "survey" the place. HA! When I see something in the corner of my eye, eyeliner in different colors and tried the black one with GLITTERS. GLITTERS! The SA said that it's really waterproof and smudge proof, well, syempre ang lola nyo kailangan i-testing! I test it on the back of my palm and walked around Megamall and try smearing it with my fingers after 5mins or so. GUESS WHAT?! It didn't budged in my hand. Before you know it I'm back in Tony Moly and bought the eyeliner! The great thing about it, aside from the non-smudging, it has glitters, did I already say glitters? Anyway, I don't have any glitter blackeyeliner, so this is really something for me, it's nice when I blink there's glitters in my eyes, not just a plain black line sitting on my eyelid diba? It add ooomph to my peepers!

Crafting with CAT HAIR?! WTF?!

Have you ever heard of this?! When  saw this article in Etsy, I was like "huh? Did I read it right?!" and I re-read the title of the article. Yep! I read it right! It's like a jewelry box with cat hair. And I was like WOW people really got nothing to do nowadays! What about dog hair??

This is the finished product. Hmm not too bad.

There's your cat hair! Just thinking of it made me itchy all over!

Seriously?!

 What do you think?!

Ushi, You Made Me Laugh SOOO Effin' Hard!!

Has anyone watched one of  Ushi's interview in Youtube? Well, I think I'm the only one who doesn't know Ushi! Ushi is a Japanse interviewer. She travels around the world to surprise international stars with her stupid and shameless questions. The one video that really gets me is the time she interviewed Adele. You know the one who sung "Rolling in the Deep". Ahhh! sounds familiar now? She's really lovely and very very patient. NOW. YOU. WATCH.

Ushi, you made my day!

The Divorce Club by Jayde Scott

Ratings: 5 stars

It was such an awesome pick-me-up story any girl should read! I read the book in just 2 days which I normally read like around 5 days.

I love the main character, Sarah. She is funny, witty and down to earth divorcee who loves her clients so much that she would go over her limitations just to help them. And of course there's no good story without a love interest, Jamie. A fake client to pretends to be on te process of divorcing his wife and eventually falling for the main character.

A fun light read! I recommend this to everyone!

Feather Extensions and What Not

OMGGGG! I've been totally slacking! This is BAAAAD! It's just January and I'm already lazy! I have to get up my lazy ass and work! Well, enough of my rants. I'm glad that's it's 2012! I have a lot to thank God for (Thank you Lord) I'll make sure 2012 is my year! I will make big opportunities for my brands and keep myself busy! (Promise) (wink!) To start my resolution, we are launching Feather extensions & Hair extensions this year! (yey!) Well, we launched it late last year, but the rave is overwhelming we have to make it online. Imagine we sold out of feathers on the first bazaar of the holidays (November 2011) and I have to re-order and rush it for the coming week's bazaars! Phew!

"Real Feather Extensions are so in right now! It's semi-permanent, that's attached to you hair. You can wash, blowdry, curl iron and flat iron it like your real hair! And the BEST part?! It can last you more than 2 months! even more than 3 months! it's upto you when you want to remove it :)"

We also have set kits for those who are having a hard time
choosing the right color combinations

We also have Synthetic Hair Extensions, similar to feather extensions, but the Synthetic hair
is like hair (duh!)
